| • Multi-Point Monitoring , MPM™ |
| |
| "Only Tzolkin offers TZO-MON for fault tolerant monitoring" |
|
| |
| • Monitoring
from two, three or more - alternate locations |
| |
| With
MPM, monitoring agents originating from two, three or
more different locations test the availability of your
server/s. Testing from different locations ensures that
each agent is truly monitoring your server and not testing
the connection path or route used to reach your server.
If just one agent indicates a failure, that is an indication
of a failure in the connection route (path) within the
established test period, and not a failure of the server
itself or its availability.
All participating monitoring agents must indicate a failure in order for the AutoFailover process to initiate. |
| |
| • Persistent Monitoring Agent, PMA™ |
| |
| TZO-PMA™ actually enables the regeneration of any individual monitoring point. With these new capabilities, if any type of monitor agent failure occurs or if any problem at a particular monitoring location is encountered, PMA will automatically regenerate each of individually effected TZO-MON monitoring agents at a pre-defined alternate TZO-NET location. |
| |
| • Customizable
Actions…. |
| |
| • Action
taken ONLY if both/All monitoring agents report a failure
|
| |
| Each
minute the agents compare results and take action only
if both agents detect a failure. Redundant monitoring
prevents a notification and a failover from occurring
unnecessarily. |
| |
| • Monitors
different protocols |
| |
TZO-HA
can monitor different protocols, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP,
FTP, TELNET, PING (ICMP) and POP3. By request other
protocols can be added. If TZO-HA detects a failure
by monitoring one of these protocols, you have the
options of failing over just that protocol or failing
over the entire domain. |
